The Korean based company Samsung will be launching its flagship smartphone known as Samsung Galaxy S5 in an early quarter of the year 2014. According to the concept, there is a total redesign of the exteriors of this device with a more square looking finish. There are reports, according to which Samsung launches this smartphone with a full metal jacket which is Aluminium made unibody. The upcoming device is rumored to be completely waterproof and shockproof. It makes very convenient for its users. There is a renovated home screen button with a touch sensor which come with a glowing effect.
The concept predicts that it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Octa-core processor and a 64-bit chipset with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU. The RAM is of 3 GB. There are three variants of different internal memory storage of 32/64/128 GB.
It is expected to sport a 16 MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and a secondary camera of 4 MP. It has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) which help in producing higher image quality with better clarity and sharpness. This camera supports the video recording at the 1080p (HD) quality.
However, all these features are only part of the concept design of Samsung Galaxy S5 and not the actual device that will be released. We will only be able to know how much of this will actually be a part of this smartphone after its release in 2014.
