Candidate Experience :-
Basically the recruitment of IBM consists of 4 rounds.
1. Online Aptitude
2. English Written Test
3. Group Discussion
4. Technical+HR interview
1) Online aptitude:-
It includes 36 questions.Among which 18 from logical series, remaining are quantitative aptitude questions. the series questions are quite bit tough which consists of 13-14 numerical numbers and we have to find the next in the series else the quant questions are same as the examples in R.S. Agarwal eng
2) English written test: –
It is a email writing skills test where we have been provided with 3-4 short paras.. nd we have to summarize it into exactly 6 statements in the form of email. The basic rules are 1. it should be exactly 6 statements 2.statements should not be copied from text provided 3. should be grammatically correct GD: —
This round can be conducted in 2 ways
1. normal GD
2. extempore( they will tell to choose ur own topic and speak for 3 min)
3) Technical+HR interview:-
The hr will ask about your favorite subjects… final yr project…. and about all the contents in resume… he will ask questions based on your reply… for ex he asked me what do u know in C… I replied structure, union, dynamic memory allocation… then they asked me about dynamic memory allocation… then i replied with malloc nd calloc.. then he asked about the syntax of malloc… and he continued in this same way.. basic hr questions… like salary expected, r u interested, why interested, your goal etc etc…. finally its a good practice to ask at last a single query to HR..
